On behalf of the WCPS Education Foundation, WCPS is proud to donate copies of Adventures Inside a Bright-Eyed Sky and plans to provide copies to its 15 elementary schools and 4 middle schools. We are honored to provide 5 copies of Adventures Inside a Bright-Eyed Sky to each of the libraries in these 19 schools.
Adventures inside a Bright-Eyed Sky was written by Chuck Beard, a Bowling Green native, and illustrated by Andee Rudloff. Rudloff is a graduate of Warren East High School and celebrated artist.

Illustrator Rudloff shares, “ Reading and art are more than just a way to keep our minds active; it’s an opportunity to connect through story, build empathy, and spark conversations that can change lives. I am proud to support the students of Warren County Public Schools. As an artist and advocate for community and education, I’m honored to donate copies of Adventures Inside a Bright-Eyed Sky with Chuck Beard to the Warren County Public School Foundation for use in elementary school reading programs
Author Beard states, “Originally a creative project that helped me make sense of my own unique childhood, relationships, and finding hope through personal adversity, it quickly brought together other artists to build a completed book and movement that inspired others to help anyone needing a good story and hope during their own personal traumas. It’s not lost on me that this new collaboration with Warren County Schools in my forever hometown of Bowling Green, Kentucky, is another beautiful opportunity for everyone who reads this book to see more ways that we can help and enrich each other’s lives through art and action.”
